Refund & Cancellation Policy

Parvathi Vidyalayam Trust is a registered charitable organisation. All donations received are used exclusively for our education, health, and community welfare programs. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which refunds may be issued.

1. Donations Are Non-Refundable

All contributions made to Parvathi Vidyalayam Trust are considered voluntary and non-refundable. Once a donation is made, it cannot be cancelled, reversed, or refunded, except in cases of proven technical error.

2. Refunds for Duplicate or Incorrect Transactions

If you believe a duplicate or incorrect payment has been made, notify us within 7 working days of the transaction. After internal verification, a refund may be processed to the original payment method.

3. Technical or Failed Transactions

Refunds may be issued if a technical issue caused:

• payment failure while the amount was deducted
• payment success not reflected in our systems
• gateway malfunction or server-side error

Donors may be asked to provide proof such as bank statements or transaction screenshots.

4. CSR Donations & MoU-Based Contributions

CSR donations made under an MoU, agreement, or sanctioned CSR policy are strictly non-refundable once funds are allocated or project execution begins.

5. 80G Receipts & Refund Eligibility

If a refund is approved for any reason:

• the previously issued 80G certificate becomes invalid
• donors must not claim tax exemption for that donation

6. Unauthorized or Fraudulent Transactions

If your card/wallet/bank account was used without authorization, we will assist you in filing a dispute with the payment gateway and relevant authorities. Refunds will be processed only after verification.

7. Donor Responsibility

Donors are requested to verify the following before making a payment:

• donor details and email accuracy
• donation amount
• valid payment method

8. Refund Request Procedure

To request a refund, email:

• Reason for refund request

9. Processing Timeline

Approved refunds will be processed and credited within 7–10 working daysand credited back to the original payment method. Processing time may vary depending on your bank/payment provider.
